For more than thirty years, Algeria has been subjected to a major deterioration to the extent that resources are scarce in the country. Of course, one of these reasons is climate change, which led to irregular rainfall in terms of time and place, which led to the continuation of drought, thus, a quantitative and qualitative deterioration of water reserves. This study focuses on current situation of water resources supply and management in Algeria. It aims to define the environmental problems related to the water resource and then suggest a sustainable package to solve environmental problems of water in Algeria. The results show that despite the complicated situation of water in Algeria and the multidimensional challenges facing the sustainable development goals in the country, it is possible to implement a global sustainable package to achieve the sixth goal of the SDGs
